VPlanetCoding is a free online resource designed for students who wish to learn programming as well as to compete in programming competitions such as USA Computing Olympiad, CodeForces, Stanford Proco, etc.. The course material includes video tutorials and carefully curated problem sets targeted for all skill levels from novice to expert. The problems are handpicked from CodeForces and USACO contests and organized by topic, so that students can master one topic at a time at their own pace. New video tutorials on select topics are added regularly, so please check for updates or subscribe to the youtube channel.
The creator of VPlanetCoding is Riya Arora, a student at James Logan High School in Union City, California. Riya started participating in competitive programming in 2015, and quickly advanced through the various USACO levels becoming a finalist in 2017 and 2018, and she also reached Division 1 in CodeForces. During this journey she realized that there weren't very many good resources to help prepare for these competitions. Some institutions offered courses, but these tended to be very expensive. Also a lot of the online material was hard to comprehend with very few video tutorials, and was not well organized. She decided to make a free resource to help other students, and put a lot of energy into organizing the available problem sets by topic with videos included.
As of this writing thousands of students from around the world are following the suggested curriculum to improve their programming skills. Come join this growing family and leave comments on suggestions for new topics and videos!
